Hebrews 11:13 “All of these died in faith without having received the promises, but from a distance they saw and greeted them. They confessed that they were strangers and foreigners on the earth.”

This morning went pretty smoothly and we all had breakfast and went back to the room to get our luggage, only to have Lucia through a fit about her bag and how and what she wanted to carry with it.

I totally wanted to throw myself on the floor and start throwing my own tantrum. These girls are tag teaming on these tantrums and it is exhausting.

We finally got Lucia under control (or at least enough to leave), we do a final check of the room and head down to check out and catch our cab to the airport. All is good until we go through security to realize that when Jeff took Anjali’s tablet and computer away last night he put them in the nightstand next to our bed, a place we didn’t think about looking before we left. Her electronics were left at the hotel in Bangkok. Sigh…

Thankfully we were able to call them and they were willing to ship the items to us. While this could have been an utter disaster and trigger point for Anjali, she handled it quite well. Only a few tears at the very beginning because she was afraid that she wouldn’t get them back. But she rebounded quite well once she realized that the hotel found them and is going to send them to us at our home stay and they should be to us by Monday or Tuesday.

Oh please let this be the last bit of excitement for our Bangkok trip. And it was. We got to our hotel in Chiang Mai (Casa Marocc) and it was beautiful. The view from the rooftop of the hotel.

We scheduled a Night Safari through the hotel. It was awesome. The kids had a blast and so did Jeff and I (though, again, we had another tantrum from Lucia, but it was short-lived and she recovered quite quickly).

It is pretty clear though that David has hives and they are not getting any better. We stopped off at the pharmacy and got an oil that should help with the itching on his scalp and forehead. The problem is that we don’t know what is causing them. I emailed our pediatrician back in the US and she assured us that as long as he is not having any severe reactions and they are not around his eyes or mouth we are good to go and we can just let it run its course. We gave him some Zyrtec (an antihistamine) and some ibuprofen before he went to bed. This poor guy.
