Proverbs 3:4-6 So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on you own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
The last two days have been quite uneventful, as we are just trying to adjust and get used to our surroundings. Today we went grocery shopping again, as we have quickly realized that we will need to shop almost daily due to the small fridge in the apartment—this has turned into quite a blessing as it forces me to practice my German. The kids enjoyed the trampoline outside and we did a lot of walking around town, including the quick walk to Cup & Cino for some incredible gelato—I can see this turning into a regular occurrence, as the kids loved it and the ladies that worked there are absolutely wonderfully kind and extremely helpful, especially with my German. We are enjoying the walk to the fleishe (or meat market) to pick up our daily meat. We also learned today that almost everything is closed in Schönebeck on Sunday and they close very early on Saturday. This will require some getting used to and some planning, since everything back home is open every day of the week. I have really enjoyed the last few days here and look forward to many more to come.
